Lyca Productions has recently announced the 2.0 film of Rajinikanth is going to get released in July on a grand scale. Now as per the official sources 56,000 screens for Rajinikanth movie is announced by the China movie market.
While the icing on the cake for China Rajinikanth fans is in those 56,000 screens 2.0 movie is getting both 3D and Imax 3D theatres release where 47,000 3D screens are included in theatre list. A larger than life special premiers are planned on 28th June and the regular release is scheduled on July 12th, 2019. The chinses title for Rajinikanth 2.0 is 2.0 Resurgence and this is the biggest release for an Indian film in China till date with 56,000 screens.
2.0 is the highest budgeted movie to date in the Indian film industry where makers have spent a whopping 570 crores. While the film has made an 800 crores collection at the Indian box office. Director Shankar vision, class acting by Rajinikanth as the lead, Akshay Kumar in antagonist role and the overall technical brilliance of the 2.0 has made the movie a super hit. Indian films especially south movies have generated a new market for themselves in China movie market.
