Hyderabad, 12th April 2022: Featuring an ensemble cast including actors Taraka Ratna, Ajay, Vinod Kumar, Madhu Shalini, Ravi Varma, Preethi Asrani, Ankith Koyya, Jwala Koti, Monica Reddy and others, 9 Hours is the latest offering to Hotstar Specials. The Telugu original will have its premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on 2nd June 2022. Renowned director Krish Jagarlamudi is the showrunner for this drama series. 9 Hours is a period drama that tells the story of three prisoners who escape from prison to execute a major robbery. But the twist in the tale is they have to return before the next roll call. What happens when they land in the bank? How do the police get involved? How many hostages become their victims? These answers will all be in the story. The show is directed by Niranjan Kaushik and Jacob Verghese, the show is produced on First Frame Entertainments by Rajeev Reddy Y. and Sai Babu Jagarlamudi.
