Vizag born filmmaker Sudha Kongara is best known for her film Saala Khaddoos (Guru in Telugu). The lady filmmaker has teamed up with actor Suriya for her next film Soorarai Pottru (Aakasham Nee Haddura in Telugu). The first look of the film was out recently and received a good response from the audience.
When asked if the film is really based on the life of Air Deccan founder GR Gopinath, Sudha said that all she can say is that the film portrays an incredible journey of an ordinary man who reaches heights in his career. It is the story of a common man who fought against the odds of the society to achieve his dream.
The director also revealed that Hollywood stunt choreographer Greg Powell, who worked for Skyfall and Bourne Ultimatum, has been roped in for this film. Sudha, however, clarified that the film is not high on action sequences but features a couple of them. The team will announce the release details of Soorarai Pottru soon.
