Tamil Star Chiyaan Vikram joined hands with ‘Imaikka Nodigal’ fame director Ajay Gnanamuthu and is all set to come up with another interesting thriller flick titled as ‘Cobra‘ featuring Srinidhi Shetty as the female lead in the movie.
Cricketer Irfan Pathan is playing a crucial role in this film. This Tamil Star Chiyaan Vikram title itself has been grabbing the attention of the audience. Revealing about it, director Ajay Gnanamuthu said that as the movie will get released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages, he wanted to have a title that works in all languages and which is why he has zeroed down on that title. He further added that the protagonist’s character and the title ‘Cobra’ also have a connection that will get revealed only after watching the film. It seems like 50% of the film shooting got wrapped up. The Chennai schedule of the film will get completed very soon and after that, the movie unit will continue the shooting in Europe and Russia. The next schedule will go on roll mid-January and the team is planning to release the first look by the end of January.
SS Lalit Kumar under Lalit 7 Screen Studio is backing this project. AR Rahman is composing tunes for this film which is aiming for a grand Summer release in 2020.
