Sensible director Gautham Menon has also interest in acting. Recently, he acted in an important role in his directorial web series Queen. Now, Gautham is all set to play a full-length role in an upcoming Tamil film.
Noted actor Vishnu Vishal is currently working on the film FIR. He is also the producer of it. Gautham Menon’s associate Manu Anand is directing this film. The story deals with a young Muslim man whose life takes a serious turn after indulging in a bizarre situation. Gautham is playing a key character in this movie.
When Vishnu Vishal heard the script, he wanted someone majestic with a great voice to perform that role. As it is a complex role, the team didn’t want to compromise on the actor playing it. Finally, Vishnu Vishal said Gautham Menon will be the best option. Even the latter agreed immediately as Manu Anand worked as his associate before.
Vishnu Vishal said that Gautham’s role will not be a cameo and will be there from the first half to the climax. He added that Gautham will join the sets today and he is pretty much excited to shoot with the great director. FIR features Manjima Mohan, Raiza Wilson, and Reba Monica John as the heroines.
