According to industry buzz, the film has attracted interest from several distributors following its promotional campaign, with the recently released trailer generating a positive response for its mystical premise and impressive visuals.

Despite receiving multiple distribution offers, director M. S. Raju has reportedly decided against selling the film outright.

Confident about the film’s content and its theatrical potential, the veteran filmmaker is understood to be backing a self-release strategy rather than parting with the rights at this stage. This film is being released on the own through Geetha arts and Annapurna Studios.

Trade sources indicate that the film’s release has now been locked across all major territories, paving the way for a wide release on August 14.

The makers appear to have put together a strong distribution network to ensure the film reaches audiences on a grand scale during the Independence Day holiday period.

One of the biggest highlights on the business front is the film’s USA release, which will be handled by Moksha movies.

Landing a reputed distribution partner for the North American market is seen as a significant development, adding further strength to the film’s overseas prospects.

In the Telugu states, the release is expected to be supported by the strong exhibition network of Geetha Arts and Annapurna Studios, reflecting the confidence surrounding the project as it heads towards release.

The trailer has already showcased Agadha as a visually ambitious supernatural drama with a divine and mystical backdrop.

Its reverse chronological storytelling, elaborate production design, extensive CGI work and haunting background score have all contributed to the growing curiosity surrounding the film.

Shravan Reddy and Kamakshi Bhaskarla play the lead roles, while the supporting cast is also expected to play pivotal parts in the mystical narrative.

Written and directed by M. S. Raju, Agadha is produced by Kasi Visalakshi Balusu under the Sri Adi Varaha Productions banner and is presented by Ajay KR.

The technical team comprises Rakesh Venkatapuram as the music composer, Nani Chamidishetty as the cinematographer, Junaid Siddiqui as the editor and Rajeev Nair as the production designer. Chaitanya Vegi has provided the additional screenplay, while NVN Subbaraju serves as the executive producer.

With business falling into place, distribution locked across key markets and promotions entering the final stretch, Agadha is gearing up for a grand worldwide theatrical release on August 14, carrying strong confidence from its makers and growing curiosity among audiences.
