Vaanam Kottattum is the upcoming Tamil film starring Radhika Sarath Kumar and Sarath Kumar playing the leads. The movie also features Vikram Prabhu, Madonna Sebastian, Aishwarya Rajesh and others in key roles. Mani Ratnam is producing the movie and it marks the debut of Sid Sriram as a music director.
Today, AR Rahman who gave the first playback opportunity to Sid Sriram launched the song on Twitter profile. AR Rahman wrote, “Happy to launch @sidsriram’s debut song as a film composer #KannuThangom. All the best to the whole team.”
Sid Sriram thanked Rahman for doing this for him and recollected the association he had with the world-famous music composer. “This truly means the world to me, Sir. First and foremost, thanks for bringing me into this beautiful industry back in 2012. Thank you for being such an immense and generous source of inspiration, guidance, and knowledge. So much love, gratitude, and respect Sir thank you” replied Sid Sriram.
Kannu Thangom is the song’s name crooned by Sid Sriram and Shakthisree Gopalan. Siva Ananth penned the lyrics for the song.
