TN Santhosh, the director of the original, is behind the remake as well. He freshens up the proceedings and mounts it on a lavish scale here. The story and screenplay are the key elements that help Arjun Suravaram to connect with the audience. We are instantly taken back when the problem hits the hero. This personal connection is what makes Arjun Suravaram, a winner. The thrilling elements further heighten the impact.
The first half of the movie is all about creating an improbable mess for the hero. It seems too challenging to come out. The twists take the audience by surprise and also make them wonder what is in store next.
The climax is neatly wrapped up with the entire media coming together along with family support. On the whole, Arjun Suravaram offers enough thrills and drama to keep everyone satisfied.
The music by Sam CS is excellent. The ‘Khaidi’ musician shows his prowess with the background score in this movie. It elevates the proceedings promptly. The cinematography by Suryaa is excellent and editing by Naveen Nooli is sharp. The dialogues are given great importance. The ones about journalism stand out.
Tagore Madhu deserves kudos for backing a strong content oriented movie that is less on commercial frills. Arjun Suravaram once again stands as a testament of good taste Tagore Madhu has in choosing rights scripts. Producer Rajkumar Akella must be appreciated for believing this script and made it on a lavish scale. The message along with the thrills with uncompromising production values makes Arjun Suravaram a must-watch big-screen flick.
