The 50th edition of the International Film Festival of India turned out to be magnificent on the first day. With the attendance of stalwarts Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth and many more for the opening ceremony, the festival garnered all the attention that it needed. Today, the public screenings and master class sessions kicked-off successfully.
One of the producers of Baahubali, Shobhu Yarlagadda participated today in a conversation about Production, Marketing, and Distribution of Films along with Bollywood producer Siddarth Roy Kapur.
Sharing the pros and cons involved in making a movie, from the producer’s point of view, Shobhu has given out an important suggestion to all the budding producers. Sharing his insights and experience, Shobhu said, “It’s not about just making a film, there is a lot of thought process involved. If you are not willing to put equal efforts into releasing a film as much as producing a film, don’t get into film production.”
Making a film is not an easy job and releasing it is not either!
