Performances:

Bellamkonda Sreenivas shines in his role, showcasing variations in his mannerisms and dialogue delivery. He transformed his look for the role and surprised everyone with his body language, intensity, and powerful expressions and emotions in the second half. His performance in high-octane action blocks is noteworthy, especially in Jathara sequence.

Manchu Manoj elevated the scenes with his intense performance, delivering dialogues powerfully. However, his role is unidimensional, and his mannerisms and dialogue delivery often reminded viewers of his father Mohan Babu. Nara Rohith shed a few kilos for his role and sported a different look. He performed with much-needed aggression, and his screen presence is a treat on the big screen.

Analysis:

Director Vijay Kanakamedala handled Bhairavam as a commercial entertainer with impressive performances from the lead actors, especially Bellamkonda Sreenivas. The film’s action elements, BGM, and production values are noteworthy. Apart from the impressive cast, Director Vijay’ handling of emotional elements and powerful climax worked well. However, the predictable plot, and slow narration are areas that need improvement. Overall, it’s an enjoyable film for fans of commercial entertainer.

The music and tunes rendered by Sricharan Pakala are decent. The cinematography of Hari K Vedantam gave a realistic feel, showcasing the village atmosphere in a rustic and natural way. Chota K Prasad’s editing tried to make the flow of the narration.

Rating: 3/5
