Boosted by the “Gaddar Award” Second Film Coming Soon!! — Producer Busam Ravindranath
Inspired by the philosophy “If we protect trees, trees will protect us,” the life of Daripalli Ramaiah, who dedicated his entire life to planting trees and became known as “Chettla Ramaiah” (Vanajeevi Ramaiah), has been brought to the screen as “Vanajeevi Ramaiah.” He was honored with the prestigious Padma Shri by the Government of India. This 40-minute short film, produced by Busam Ravindranath under the B.R. Movies banner and directed by Nandi Award-winning director Vemuganti, carries the tagline “Vruksho Rakshati Rakshitah.” The film won the First Best Short Film award in the Short Films category at the Gaddar Awards presented by the Telangana Government. It also received a cash prize of ₹5 lakh and drew attention from audiences across both Telugu states.
Encouraged by the success of his debut production, Ravindranath is now gearing up for his second film. He currently serves as an MPTC from Proddatur in Kadapa district, representing the YSR Congress Party, and is also a real estate businessman by profession. With a deep passion for cinema since childhood, he even appeared in a small role in “Vanajeevi Ramaiah.”

At present, Ravindranath is actively engaged in story discussions for his next project and is planning to take it to the sets soon. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the making of the film, especially senior actor Brahmaji, who impressed audiences in the title role.
Ravindranath also shared that receiving appreciation from Megastar Chiranjeevi after winning the Gaddar Award, as well as earlier praise from former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu, gave him immense confidence. Recalling a memorable moment, he said that when he met Chiranjeevi and expressed his dream of making a film like Tagore with him, the Megastar smiled and said, “Dream it strongly—it will definitely come true.” Those words, he added, gave him immense strength!!
