“Chandrappan” Trailer Launched Grandly; Film Set for Grand Theatrical Release on July 24

Chandrappan, starring Dr. P. Yashman and Sonali in the lead roles, is gearing up for a grand theatrical release on July 24. Besides playing the lead, Dr. P. Yashman has also written the story, screenplay, dialogues, lyrics, and directed the film. The movie is being produced under the Elegant Entertainments banner. The trailer launch event for Chandrappan was held grandly in Hyderabad. Renowned director V. Samudra and noted producer K.L. Damodar Prasad attended the event as chief guests.

Director V. Samudra said: “Although the film is titled Chandrappan, the title has a strong and impactful sound similar to Veerappan. Looking at Yashman, he reminds me of our hero Rajasekhar, who also studied medicine before becoming an actor. The trailer is very impressive, with a raw and rustic style of filmmaking. It’s remarkable that Yashman has handled the story, screenplay, dialogues, and lyrics himself. The trailer clearly shows that he has completely immersed himself in the character. The songs are also impressive. I hope the heroine earns good recognition through this film. I wish Chandrappan receives great support from Telugu audiences.”

Producer K.L. Damodar Prasad said: “I came to know that Yashman developed an interest in cinema after completing his medical studies. It wasn’t a childhood dream, but one cannot handle so many creative departments without genuine passion for filmmaking. Usually, managing even one craft is challenging. I often attend film events as a guest and initially thought this would be another routine project. However, after watching the trailer and songs, I was truly impressed. The film has been made with good quality and strong content. New filmmakers can continue making good films only if audiences encourage them. I wish the entire team all the very best.”
