The Telugu version of the Bollywood blockbuster Chhaava, was released this Friday, and the film quickly gained traction with growing interest in the Telugu states. As a result, the film experienced an upward trajectory in box office collections, with its earnings growing on day two compared to its opening day.
This surge in popularity is clearly reflected in ticket sales on platforms like BookMyShow. On its opening day, Chhaava sold 57K+ tickets. However, by day two, that number had jumped to 69K+ tickets, indicating a strong word-of-mouth among moviegoers.
In just two days, the film has grossed 6.81 Cr, a solid performance for a dubbed version. Early ticket bookings for the weekend further indicate that this momentum is expected to continue, with the film likely to surpass the 10 Cr mark by Sunday.
Starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna, Chhaava is a historical action drama directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films.
