Hero Anand Deverakonda, director Aditya Haasan, and producer SKN launched the “Crush Song” from the upcoming film Summer Holidays
Successful producer and distributor Dheeraj Mogilineni, known for backing content-driven films, is gearing up to bring an endearing children’s film titled Summer Holidays under his banner, Dheeraj Mogilineni Entertainment. Directed by Srikar, the film is designed as a heartwarming journey that brings back nostalgic childhood memories. Master Rohan, Master Arun, and Baby Khushi play the lead roles, and the film is gearing up for a grand theatrical release soon. The makers launched the film’s first single, “Crush Song,” today at a grand event in Hyderabad in the presence of hero Anand Deverakonda, director Aditya Haasan, and producer SKN.
Writer Kondal Rao said, “We worked on Summer Holidays for nearly six months, and those months flew by because everyone enjoyed the process so much. The teaser recently received a fantastic response, and we already have positive vibes that ‘Crush Song’ will become a huge hit. We are eagerly waiting for the film’s release.”
Lyricist Kittu Vissapragada said, “We thoroughly enjoyed working on this film. Some songs remind us of memories, but this song itself will become a memory. Sinjith has composed it beautifully. I request everyone to share this song with the people they like and enjoy it together.”
Choreographer Laxman said, “When director Srikar narrated the story, it instantly reminded me of my own childhood. I connected deeply with the film. Sinjith has delivered chartbuster music, and every song in the album is wonderful.”
Producer Giribabu Vallabhaneni said, “Our ‘Crush Song’ has turned out beautifully. Thanks to Sinjith for composing it so well, Anurag Kulkarni for his soulful rendition, and Kittu for writing meaningful lyrics. The remaining songs are equally impressive, and I hope audiences enjoy both the music and the film.”
Singer Anurag Kulkarni said, “While recording ‘Crush Song,’ many childhood memories came rushing back, from cotton candy to countless little moments. The line ‘Even God wishes for the blessing called childhood’ is brilliantly written by Kittu. I believe this song stands among his finest works. After Little Hearts, I am happy to collaborate once again with Sinjith on another beautiful composition.”
Music director Sinjith Yerramilli said, “I thank Anand Deverakonda, SKN, and Aditya Haasan for launching our song. Every song in the film has come out really well, and I am confident audiences will enjoy the movie too. Kittu has written memorable lyrics, and Anurag has elevated the song beautifully with his vocals.”
Director Srikar said, “Our entire team designed this song with great care. Just as Ilaiyaraaja and Mani Sharma dominated their eras, I believe Sinjith is creating his own musical identity. After giving beautiful memories with Little Hearts, he has once again delivered a wonderful composition. Kittu has written the lyrics exactly the way I imagined, and Anurag, whose songs I have always admired, has sung it brilliantly. Laxman Master choreographed the nostalgic portions beautifully. Rohan and Khushi dedicated themselves completely to the film. After listening to this song, producer Dheeraj encouraged us even more. His support helped us create rich visuals. I hope audiences enjoy the film repeatedly, just as they will keep listening to this song.”
Producer Dheeraj Mogilineni said, “When Srikar narrated the story, I immediately felt we were making something special. Sinjith has delivered three chartbuster songs for the film. Kittu, who has worked on our earlier projects, has once again written excellent lyrics, while Anurag Kulkarni, despite singing over 800 songs, brought the same passion to this one. We are investing in this film because we truly believe in its story. Since Aditya Haasan directed 90 Middle Class and Anand Deverakonda is currently working with Rohan in Epic, it felt appropriate to have them launch the song. I also wish to collaborate with Anand once again after Dorasani and Baby. Our relationship with SKN will continue just like our association with Geetha Arts. I sincerely thank the parents of Rohan, Khushi, and Arun for supporting the shoot despite their school schedules and examinations. Without them, completing the film would not have been possible.”
Baby Khushi said, “I thank director Srikar and producer Dheeraj for giving me this opportunity. Sinjith has composed a beautiful song, and I am sure everyone will love it. Rohan and Arun have performed wonderfully, and I am happy to have shared the screen with them.”
Master Rohan Roy said, “When I learned that Sinjith Anna was composing music for our film, I was thrilled. He can create any kind of song beautifully. I am sure audiences will enjoy all the songs. I am also happy that Aditya Anna and Anand Anna attended our event. We often listen to SKN sir’s speeches, and I hope this song and our film become cherished memories for everyone.”
Director Aditya Haasan said, “Listening to ‘Crush Song’ brought back many childhood memories. Though I never spent my summer holidays at my grandparents’ house, the song still made me feel nostalgic. The team could have made any film, but Srikar chose to tell a heartfelt story. Dheeraj has consistently produced quality content, and I hope this film becomes another success for him. Sinjith always brings freshness to his music, and I love the songs Kittu wrote for Little Hearts. Rohan is a terrific performer, which is why I cast him in 90 Middle Class. I hope Rohan, Khushi, and Arun earn great recognition through this film.”
Producer SKN said, “During our childhood, we enjoyed classics like Chinari Chetan, Bala Bharatham, and Little Soldiers. Children’s films have become rare, and I am happy that Dheeraj is bringing one back. He played this song for me a few days ago, and I loved it instantly. I am a big admirer of Sinjith’s music in Little Hearts, and he has once again delivered an excellent album. Anurag Kulkarni has sung the song beautifully. I repeatedly watch Rohan’s scenes from 90, and I hope he, Khushi, and Arun gain tremendous recognition through this film. Srikar has chosen a wonderful subject. Dheeraj has been backing diverse films like Ambajipeta Marriage Band, The Girlfriend, DJ Tillu, Baby, and Chennai Love Story. Children’s films rarely receive major audio attention, but Think Music acquired the music rights without hesitation. I wish Anand’s Epic becomes a huge success. Whenever Anand or Dheeraj make a film, I consider it my own. Let your career be your biggest crush, and everything else will follow. These children balancing studies and acting shows their incredible focus. Launching a cassette today brought back many of my own memories. I wish Summer Holidays becomes a grand success.”
Hero Anand Deverakonda said, “When I watched the teaser, I became emotional and even had tears of joy. I immediately felt the team had created something beautiful. I have a special connection with many members of this team. Kittu and Anurag worked on my Guntur song, which went viral during the lockdown, and Anurag also sang Ningiloni Paalapuntha, the song that gave me my first recognition. Dheeraj co-produced my debut film. Looking at this project, it is evident that Dheeraj has once again assembled a strong team of talented technicians and artists, just like he did with Ambajipeta Marriage Band and The Girlfriend. Sinjith’s music played a major role in the success of Little Hearts, and I wish he becomes one of the biggest music directors. Rohan delivered a brilliant performance in 90, and I am now working with him in Epic. His acting has inspired me. I hope many more children develop an interest in acting after watching this film. Baby released in July, and I wish Chennai Love Story, which is also releasing in July, becomes another huge success for SKN and the team. Laxman, who appeared as a dancer in Baby, has choreographed this song beautifully. It is wonderful to see everyone’s journey progress so well. I wish director Srikar and the entire team all the very best, and I hope Summer Holidays becomes a blockbuster.”
