CV Kumar’s Thirukumaran Entertainment produces ‘Hyena’, a h(a)unting mystery thriller directed by debutant Prashanth Chander, starring Prajan, Arun, Riya, Priyalaya, Libra Ravindran, Rethika, Shobana, Saivam Ravi and Rizu
CV Kumar’s Thirukumaran Entertainment, which continues to deliver content-based blockbuster films, is now producing ‘Hyena’, helmed by debutant director Prashanth Chander.
Samathuva Makkal Kazhagam youth wing president Karthik Narayanan lit the traditional lamp and gave the clap to mark the launch of the film, while Viswanathan of V Square Entertainment attended the event and greeted the team. As the name suggests, ‘Hyena’ will be a hunting as well as haunting fast-paced mystery thriller with twists and turns. ‘Hyena’ stars Prajan, Arun, Riya, Priyalaya, Libra Ravindran, Rethika, Shobana, Saivam Ravi and Rizu and others in prominent roles.
Speaking about the film, director Prashanth Chander said, “It is going to be a thriller film with many unexpected twists and turns. The story of the film will focus on illusion.”
Prashanth Chander has worked as an associate director for ‘Gangs of Madras’ with producer and director CV Kumar.
Prashanth Chander said, “It is a great honour to direct my first film under my Guru’s production house. This will be the most important film in the second decade of Thirukumaran Entertainment.”
Nirmal Kumar is the writer, SK will be the art director of this film, PK will handle the editing and Rajesh Kannan will choreograph the stunt sequences. Rebbeca is the costume designer, A S Suriya is the cinematographer of the movie. Music for the film is composed by Hari.
Director Prashanth Chander said that the shooting of ‘Hyena’, produced by Thirukumaran Entertainment’s CV Kumar, will begin soon.
