Analysis:
Director Bobby made Daaku Maharaaj as a stylish action film with Balakrishna mark mass moments. He cleverly blended Balayya mark mass moments into the narrative. As the stylish action is complemented with emotion, the film gives many mass moments. This is where Daaku Maharaaj worked even though it has flat second half after a good first half and terrific interval block. On the downside the film suffers from a predictable narrative.
But, The film’s technical aspects are its strongest suit, with Thaman’s background score and Vijay Kannan’s cinematography being major highlights. Production Values by producers are top-notch which resulted in high quality product.
