Superstar Rajinikanth, whose previous outing ‘Petta’ became a big hit at the box office is all set to enthrall with an action entertainer ‘Darbar’. AR Murugadoss is wielding the megaphone for this project.
Star Heroine Nayanathara is playing the female lead in the movie. Nivetha Thomas will appear as Rajinikanth’s daughter in the film. Suniel Shetty, Yogi Babu, Thambi Ramaiya, etc are playing crucial roles in the movie.
Today, the makers have unveiled the much-awaited theatrical of the movie. The trailer of ‘Darbar’ hinted that Rajini will appear as a super cop in the film and his dashing looks are impressive. The trailer also showcased vintage Rajini and his style which increased the expectations even more. The film tells the story of Rajini who plays the police commissioner of Mumbai and his tom-and-jerry game with a criminal who sets on a mission to create terror in Mumbai cops.
Allirajah Subahskaran under Lyca Productions is bankrolling this project which is an Anirudh Ravichander’s musical. The film will hit the theatres for Sankranthi next year along with the Tamil version.
