Plot

Performances

Kiran Abbavaram delivers a commendable performance, showcasing different mannerisms and variations in expressions and emotions. He dances with ease and enacts high-octane stunts. Rukshar Dhillon plays the typical heroine role and looks cute and bubbly on screen. Kathy Davison is okay in her role, while John Vijay’s character looks half-baked. The supporting cast, including Aadukalem Naren and Satya, deliver decent performances.

Viswa Karun’s attempt to blend romance and action is commendable, but the execution is uneven. The first half of the film is relatively engaging, but the second half suffers from pacing issues and a lack of narrative focus. Dilruba is a watchable youthful entertainer that offers a mix of romance and action. While it doesn’t break new ground, Kiran Abbavaram’s energetic performance and the film’s technical strengths make it a reasonably enjoyable cinematic experience.

The film’s technicalities are one of its strengths. Sam CS’s musical score is a standout feature, with catchy tunes and a powerful background score that enhances the film’s emotional impact, particularly during action sequences. Daniel Viswas’ cinematography contributes to the film’s visual appeal, capturing the vibrant atmosphere and the intensity of the action scenes. Praveen KL’s editing is okay. The dialogues are mass-friendly, and the production values are good.

Dilruba turns out to be an okayish youthful entertainer. Kiran Abbavaram’s changed mannerisms attract the masses, but the regular elements act as roadblocks. The film’s technicalities, few action sequences, and Kiran Abbavaram’s performance work in favor of Dilruba. However, the over-the-top scenes and predictable plot twists bring down the film’s overall impact.
