Creative director Indraganti Mohanakrishna lost his father Indraganti Srikanth Sharma in the early wee hours of today morning in Hyderabad. Indraganti Srikanth Sharma is a very popular writer and lyricist in the Telugu film industry. He is 75 years old and he is survived by son Indraganti Mohanakrishna, daughter and his wife Janakibala.
Indraganti Srikanth Sharma has started his journey as a journalist in Andhra Jyothi and then he worked for Andhra Prabha newspaper and also worked for All India Radio. He has inked a lot of poems, plays, short stories and also written lyrics for good countable number of Telugu movies. Few notable lyrical works of Indraganti Srikanth Sharma include “Puthadibomma”, “Rendu Jella Seetha”, “Krishnavatharam” and “Nelavanka” movies.
Indraganti Srikanth Sharma has written his last lyrics for the song ‘Manasainadedo’ for the movie “Sammohanam” directed by his son Indraganti Mohanakrishna. Manasainadedo song was an instant hit and was lauded for his meaningful lyrics and soothing musical score.
