Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga Suggests Historic Names for Warangal International Airport; CM Revanth Reddy Responds, “That’s the Spirit..”
The long-cherished dream of the people of Warangal to have an international airport in their hometown has taken a significant step forward. Celebrating the development, acclaimed filmmaker and Warangal native Sandeep Reddy Vanga expressed his happiness over the proposed international airport coming to his home city.
As a tribute to the rich history and cultural legacy of the region, Sandeep Reddy Vanga suggested historic names such as Rudrama International Airport (RIA) and Kakatiya International Airport (KIA) for the Warangal airport.
Responding to his suggestion on X (formerly Twitter), Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy replied, “That’s the Spirit..”
The Chief Minister’s response brought added joy to Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who revealed an interesting connection to the phrase. He shared that “That’s the Spirit” is a dialogue he has written for his upcoming film “Spirit,” starring India’s biggest superstar Prabhas in the lead role.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga expressed his happiness that the very same words came from Chief Minister Revanth Reddy in response to his suggestion.
