Dashing director Puri Jagannadh’s son Akash Puri marked his debut as a lead actor with Puri’s directorial ‘Mehbooba’. Now, Akash is coming with ‘Romantic’ under the direction of a debutante Anil Paduri. Recently, in an interview, Akash has revealed some interesting things about his role in this film.
“I play the role of a slum-dweller in this film. My character has so many variations as my role is cunning, flirtatious, romantic, funny and also a little bad at times. After falling in love with an innocent girl (Ketika Sharma), he does everything to woo her. Though she doesn’t like him at first, she falls for him later.” said Akash about his role in the film while interacting with English news daily.
He also revealed that he played a skinny boy role in ‘Mehbooba’ but, his role in ‘Romantic’ needs to be muscular which is why he has been working out a lot and is doing kickboxing and weight lifting as well.
