Actor and filmmaker Farhan Akhtar who is busy promoting his upcoming film ‘The Sky is Pink, has surprised his fans by sharing the first look poster from his upcoming film, ‘Toofan’. The film is directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and will mark their second collaboration after 2013’s hit ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’.
Farhan twitted the first look poster through his social media platforms. “Toofan Uthega!! FIRST LOOK! #TOOFAN releasing 2nd October 2020,” he wrote in his tweet. The film is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra.
The poster shows him in a boxing ring, practicing a few air punches and showing off his chiseled body and washboard abs. The film is said to be a fictional story about a boxer’s journey from grit to glory. The film also stars Paresh Rawal in the role of the boxing coach.
The film is all set to release on October 2, 2020, and clash with as many as three films – Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Sardar Udham Singh’, John Abraham’s ‘Satyameva Jayate 2’ and Tiger Shroff’s ‘Rambo’. Farhan has Shonali Bose’s ‘The Sky Is Pink’ up for release in which he has reunited with his ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ co-star Priyanka Chopra.
