FC-Ormax announced the power list of production houses for the year 2024. Mythri Movie Makers is the only Telugu production banner on the power list. Ventured into production in 2015 with the blockbuster Srimanthudu, and completed the hat-trick with Janatha Garage and Rangasthalam, Mythri Movie Makers emerged as one of the leading production houses in India in 9 years.
In 2023, they came up with Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy released during Sankranti 2023 and became huge commercial successes for both Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna.
The production house delivered two national-award-winning movies- Pushpa and Uppena.
While Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s Pushpa was a blockbuster at Pan India level, the entire country is eagerly awaiting the sequel Pushpa 2.
Sunny Deol and Gopichand Malineni’s film marks their Bollywood entry, while they entered the Malayalam industry with Nadikar. The production house is venturing into Kollywood with Ajith’s Good Bad Ugly and they have plans of making films in other languages as well.
Mythri Movie Makers also lined up crazy projects in interesting combinations such as NTR-Prashanth Neel, Prabhas-Hanu Raghavapudi and Ram Charan Buchi Babu. They also have some other exciting projects in the pipeline.
Mythri Movie Makers owned by Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar are picking subjects that will have universal appeal.
It’s another big recognition for the production house to get a place on FC-Ormax.
