Performances:

Anand Deverakonda donned a completely different character, and he did complete justice to it. He displayed variations whenever necessary commendably. Anand’s comedy timing is also good, and the actor worked hard to get this aspect right. In his first full-length commercial flick, he attempted to showcase a new side of his acting abilities.

Nayan Sarika and Pragathi Shrivatsav, looks beautiful on-screen but, both had limited screen presence, appearing only in a couple of songs. Vennela Kishore brings the house down with his antics. He is superb as Organ David, and the comedy track involving him is entertaining. while Sathyam Rajesh delivered an adequate performance. The supporting cast, including Prince, Jabardasth Emmanuel, Krishna Chaitanya, and others, delivered satisfactory performances.

Analysis:

Gam Gam Ganesha written and directed by Uday Bommisetty attempted to create a comedic riot by casting Anand Devarakonda in a completely different role. While some of the jokes landed perfectly leaving audiences in splits, some of them missed. The director dealt the entire film as a hilarious entertainer. It worked during the first half.

Due to the entire focus on entertainment, the story takes backseat and at times it doesn’t move forward in several scenes. Especially the second half suffers with such kind of lag. But, due to the entertaining set-up and the core idea the film ended up as a decent entertainer.

Chaitan Bhardwaj’s songs are neat. However, his background score was notably better, adding depth to the scenes. Aditya Javvadi’s cinematography was commendable, effectively capturing the rustic charm of the rural setting. The production values are commendable. Karthika Srinivas’ editing left much to be desired.

Rating: 3/5

Bottom-line: A Decent Comedy Entertainer
