In 2013 Indian audiences got the first dose of Zombie comedy genre with Go Goa Gone and it was both critically, commercial success at the box office. Today the sequel to Go Goa Gone is announced as Go Goa Gone 2 with Saif Ali Khan, Kunal Kemmu and Vir Das from the original is going to represent the same roles in the sequel too.
Go Goa Gone had an open ending hinting of a sequel and this sequel will take off from where the first part is put on hold. Director duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK have directed Go Goa Gone and they are going to continue the franchise directing the second part also. Anand Tiwari and Saif Puja Gupta are also going to be part of Go Goa Gone 2, the zoom-com shooting will begin from September 2020 and it is slated for release in March 2021. Go Goa Gone 2 is being bankrolled by Dinesh Vijan and Eros International.
