Story:
Krish (Siddharth) and Lakshmi (Andrea Jeremiah) are a happy couple madly in love with each other. Their world gets disturbed with the arrival of new neighbors. They disrupt the peace and set panic as unfortunate things start to happen. Why are the strange things happening and how Krish and Lakshmi escape from it is the primary story.
Performances:
Siddharth is fantastic as the lovable husband, responsible director, and takes us by surprise in the final transformation. He portrays each dimension with the right amount of subtlety and doesn’t go over the top in a way that can be distracting.
Andrea Jeremiah compliments Siddharth well. They get the madly in love husband-wife act right. She has few scary scenes to enact and does them well.
Anisha Angelina act as a young girl possessed by demons is fantastic. Suresh and Atul Kulkarni bring their experience as senior actors into play while essaying the respective characters.

Analysis:
In Telugu cinema, the horror genre is the most repeated today. Almost every alternative week we get a movie in the genre. But that common thing with all of those movies is that they are comedy films in the genre. In Gruham, director Milind Rau presents us a horror movie with no comic add-on.
Gruham sets the tone right from the beginning and maintains it until the end. The first half is filled with thrilling horror moments that are sure to make the audience jump out of their seats. The interval bang is one of the best in the genre. The second half lacks momentum in comparison, but the real issue it brings up behind all the horror is easily identifiable and connecting. In the end, Gruham is a satisfying watch as after a long time we feel the thrill of the genre.
Music by Girishh sets the tone of the movie perfectly. It helps in elevating the scare factor. It can be loud at times, but that is alright. The cinematography and editing are perfect. The production values are spot-on.
