One of the most passionate producer Sreenivas Kumar, popularly known as SKN celebrating his birthday today. His journey serves as an inspiring tale of perseverance and passion in the Telugu film industry. He began his career as a journalist on a website, then moved on to work for TV9 before becoming a successful PRO.
Transitioning from his role as a PRO, SKN served as an executive producer for several projects, notably contributing to UV Creations’ banner with films like “Mahanubhavudu” and “Prathi Roju Pandage.” Alongside Director Maruthi, he co-founded Good Cinema Group, further solidifying his presence in the industry and laying the groundwork for his future endeavors.
SKN’s leap into production came with the Vijay Deverakonda starrer “Taxiwala,” marking a significant milestone in his career. This collaboration continued as he partnered with Maruthi, Geetha Arts, and UV Creations, gaining momentum with each successful project. His confidence soared after the resounding success of “Taxiwala.”
Then he went onto co produce many blockbuster films and then delivered cult blockbuster Baby last year, which crossed 100 crores at box office. The film, directed by Sai Rajesh, became a blockbuster, establishing SKN as a formidable solo producer. Known for his dynamic speeches and impactful presence at movie events, SKN’s charisma and philanthropic efforts have garnered him a strong following on social media.
Looking ahead, SKN has ambitious plans, including the Hindi remake of “Baby” titled ‘Cult Bomma,’ and a major collaboration with National Award-winning director Sandeep Raj of “Colour Photo” fame. Baby director Sai Rajesh and SKN will be collaborating for 3 more intriguing projects.
He is co producer for Rashmika Mandanna’s film “The Girlfriend.” Additionally, he is creative producer for the biggie “Raja Saab,” featuring Prabhas. SKN is actively overseeing the production’s development. Today, SKN stands as one of the prominent producers in Tollywood, continually pushing boundaries with innovative projects.
