South star Director Shankar Shanmugam is one of those few directors who you not only dare to do high budget films but also scores blockbusters with his mind-blowing concepts.
Today, the director is celebrating his 56th birthday and the social media is flooding with birthday wishes from so many fans and popular celebrities from all over the industry. The director who was born and brought up in Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu became a director in 1993 with ‘Gentleman’ movie which became a blockbuster in Telugu and Tamil languages. The director has made some outstanding movies like ‘Bharateeyudu’, ‘Jeans’, ‘Shivaji’, ‘Robo’ etc which became box-office spinners. His recent outing ‘2.O’ which came out as the sequel of ‘Robo’ also made record collections at the box office.
On the other hand, Shankar is now going to come up with yet another magnum opus titled as ‘Bharateeyudu’ and the title itself is just hinting that the movie is going to be the sequel of 1996 released blockbuster film ‘Bharateeyudu’.
