Nitya Menen is one of the most talented actors working right now in the industry. The actress is always choosy in picking up the scripts and does only one or two films a year. She was last seen in Mission Mangal and currently, Nitya is prepping up to shoot for Jayalalitha’s biopic, The Iron Lady, which is being helmed by Priyadarshini.
Speaking about the film in a recent interview, Nitya said that initially, she was skeptical to do the role after hearing out the director’s idea and vision towards the film, she immediately gave her nod. When asked about her preparation for the role, Nitya replied that she isn’t doing any prep work for the role as she knows Tamil and Bharatanatyam.
Nitya revealed that a film like The Iron Lady needs a lot of pre-production work than the production work. The team also needs to get permission from the family of Jaya. She stated that the film will go on floors sometime in the next year.
