Legendary actress Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor made her debut last year with the film Dhadak. Janhvi already entered the digital space and is gearing up for her maiden web-film Ghost Stories. This four-part anthology film will start streaming on Netflix from January 1st, 2020.
Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor played the lead role in the segment directed by Zoya Akhtar. Speaking about the experience of working on this film, Janhvi said that she involved in the character a lot as she liked the script immensely. But the actress felt really scared while shooting for the film. That is the time when Janhvi realized how fear also plays a major role in our emotional stability.
Janhvi also felt that she got possessed by someone while shooting for this film. She also added that at least 8 out of 10 crew members fell sick while shooting for the movie. Anyways, Ghost Stories turned out to be a bit scary but an important journey in Janhvi’s career.
Popular filmmakers Anurag Kashyap, Karan Johar, and Dibakar Banerjee helmed the other three segments of this horror anthology film. All the four directors have earlier helmed a Netflix original anthology film called Lust Stories.
