Actor Thiruveer played lead role in Horror film Masooda that has been the talk of the industry currently. This small budget horro thriller is working well at the ticket windows and the struck a chord with the audiences. Sharing his happiness Thiruveer interacted with media.
About Getting Into The Project
“I got to learn about this project from cinematographer Jagadish Cheekati while doing a film titled ‘Pareshan’. I accepted to do ‘Masooda’ because Swadharm Entertainment was producing it. I was told I would be roped in only if producer Rahul Yadav Nakka approves my casting. I auditioned for the role and was made to utter some English lines,” Thiruveer said.
About Playing The Lead Role
The ‘George Reddy’ actor was feeling bad that he was being offered negative roles. At one point, he asked himself if he is fit only for such roles. “Everyone wants to play lead roles. I played a prominent role in ‘Palasa 1978’. But it is ‘Masooda’ that gave me my first solo poster officially,” Thiruveer said.

About The Role
He didn’t find it hard to portray the character in ‘Masooda’ for the reason that he is much like Gopi in real life. “The stunts that I do in the climax were difficult to pull off, though,” he added.
About Future Roles
He wants to play the kind of characters that Kamal Haasan played in ‘Drohi’, ‘Vichitra Sodarulu’ and ‘Swathi Muthyam’. “I want to be a versatile actor,” Thiruveer says. “I have no intentions to be just a hero. The likes of Prakash Raj and Kota Srinivasa Rao have made a name for themselves as artists,” Thiruveer says.
About Upcoming Projects
Thiruveer is currently waiting for the release of three movies and a web series of his. ‘Pareshan’ is the first of them. Another film titled ‘Mokshapatam’ is also in the making. Besides, a web series produced by Vyjayanthi Movies is in the making. ‘Parahushaar’, another film, is also on the cards.
