Story:
Nanda Kishore (Nasser) is the Good Samaritan in the life of Teja (Sai Dharam Tej). What happens when Nanda Kishore (Nasser) dies in mysterious circumstances? And how Teja (Sai Dharam Tej) solves the whole issue, is the overall story of the film.
Performances:
Sai Dharam Tej is terrific throughout the movie. He gives his best and surrenders himself completely to director VV Vinayak. The latter molds him on the lines of a young Chiranjeevi. Be it the dances or comedy expressions or action episodes, the subtle touch is evident. On his part, Sai Dharam Tej looks uber cool on screen carrying off everything with élan.
Lavanya Tripathi makes the most impression in songs where she is drop dead gorgeous in the fanciest costumes. She doesn’t have much to do else.
There are a bunch of comedians, and each one gets a scene or two to impress. Sapthagiri makes the most of them. Posani Krishna Murali and others are adequate.
Positives:
Sai Dharam Tej
VV Vinayak Direction
Racy Screenplay
Songs
Rich Production Values
Negative:
Gets Boring At Time
Analysis:
VV Vinayak is a master of commercial cinema in Telugu film industry. He has many blockbuster movies to his credit that have immense repeat value. Inttelligence is the latest addition to the list with all the trademarks of the director in place.
The movie begins nicely and establishing the setting and story well. The humor is darker this time where the director has tried to generate fun with issues that crop in daily social media space. A loud-mouthed friend who always gets into trouble, the prevention of animal cruelty brigade, reaction to the social media posts, and so on. At times it leads to boredom. The main story is simple and neatly handled in typical VV Vinayak style. The narration is always in control with Vinayak at the helm.
Both the halves have fun bits, but it from the interval point that the movie gets going with hero taking charge in a more mass way. The second half has lots of action and drama that would be liked by the masses. Overall, Inttelligent is another successful addition of mass entertainer in VV Vinayak’s career.
Music by SS Thaman is perfect for the setting and situation. The background score is equally impactful. The cinematography is fine. Editing is decent. The production values by C.K.Entertainments are excellent.
Bottom-line: Inttelligent Entertainer
Rating: 3/5
