The Mass Festival begins with the film titled Jathara in theatres from today. The trailer of Jathara gets positive response for its superb visuals and amazing graphic work.

Debutante Sathish Babu Ratakonda is introducing as a hero, writer and the director of this film. The film is set in the backdrop of village based on the true incidents happened. Radhakrishnaa Production Company with Galla Manjunath as a presenter. Dwarampudi Radhakrishna Reddy as a producer and Dwarampudi Shiva Shankar Reddy as a co-producer is producing this film. Music Dirctor Sreejith Edavana has composed tunes to the movie.

Plot:

Chalapathi (Sathish Babu Ratakonda), an atheist is the only son of the temple priest Paleti. Paleti was not accepted by the village people as he does bad influences and creates a ruckus every time. Chalapathi’s crush Venkata Lakshmi (Deeya Raj) is from the same village also falls for Chalapathi. Later point of time, when Paleti is alone Goddess Gangavathi comes in his dream and asks him to fulfill her wish. However, things go wrong when Gangi Reddy (RK Naidu) enters into the picture in the same village.

What situations did Chalapathi confront? Did Chalapathi comes to know what are the situations is worth watching it on the big screen.

Casting Performances:

Hero Sathish Babu Ratakonda dominates as an Actor, Writer and a Director in the film. He has given his best by delivering matured performance through out the film. Especially in the climax, his role in the climax part will get applause from the audience.

Heroine Deeya Raj looks good as a village girl and delivered her best in the film as a female lead. Her dialogue timing and expressions are an asset in the movie.

Actor RK Naidu proves his versatility in the acting and looks terrific in the negative shades.

The other characters done by Battula Lakshmi, Ramu Galla,Galla Manjunath,Mahaboob Pasha Shaik and others are decent.

Technical Department:

Director Satish Babu made his mark with good grip in story telling and the screenplay was so convincing without any confusion in the narration. His plot is simple and short but still makes sense in delivering the conclusion on a decent note.

Radhakrishnaa Production Company Production Values seems that they didn’t compromise in bringing quality output.

Sreejith Edavana’s Music is amazing with terrific BGM score.

Cinematographer’s K.V Prasad and Editing by B.Mahendranath is neat and crispy.

Highlights:

Jathara, as the title speaks about the euphoria and the vibes we see in the villages is properly executed in the film. The audience will definitely feel that nostalgic moment if they have felt it in their personal life or if they know about the village cultures. Satish Babu as a director narrated this story with pure mix of emotions and mythological point without any lag. Every character which portrayed in the movie has a scope of action and emotions. The major part of the film is based on the emotion driven and the beliefs on the Village Mythological points are properly executed.

The film’s runtime is a major asset. Jathara has all the commercial elements and the movie is about the culture. Especially the confrontation scenes between the Hero and Villain and the Goddess VFX work is very good. Beginning of the titles till the end card, Jathara has a vibe in a engaging the audience especially in the Pre Interval and Pre Climax blocks. Both the scenes will give you Goosebumps in theatres
