Now Kajal Aggarwal has joined hands with Jai Vakeel Foundation to generate awareness about Intellectual Disability (ID) that is ignored by many Indians and one in every fifty children are suffering in our country.
Kajal shared a long post about the noble movement she is starting with for ID affected children along with Jai Vakeel Foundation by wearing an INCLUSION BAND to her hand. Kajal urged her followers to wear the INCLUSION BAND and join the movement through her Instagram account and she posted as
“ This INCLUSION BAND stands for a tomorrow that is all-inclusive, one where respect, dignity, diversity, inclusion, and acceptance co-exist. Let’s build a movement together! Did you know that 1 in every 50 Indians, over 26 million individuals have Intellectual Disability (ID). In spite of the colossal figure, we as a society still remain largely unaware of this space and we are unable to actively address the needs of these individuals. Those with ID are some of the most marginalized and excluded groups of children, experiencing widespread violations of their rights.
