Plot
Kantara Chapter 1 story revolves around Berme, a strong warrior played by Rishab Shetty, who leads the Kantara tribe and secretly enters the Bangra kingdom, with its new King Kulasekhara (Gulshan Devaiah), sparking a face-off between the tribe and the kingdom. The story showcases the differences between the Kantara tribe and the Bangra kingdom, highlighting their unique traditions and rituals.
Performances
Rishab Shetty shines in his role as Berme, bringing depth and nuance to the character. His portrayal during the divine possession and trance sequences is exceptional, showcasing his impressive acting abilities. Besides his acting abilities Rishab once again impressed with his Directorial skills this time even on a massive scale.
Rukmini Vasanth plays her part to perfection, oozing glamour and confidence as the princess. Her character’s twist adds a surprising layer to the story. Jayaram does a decent job as the king, making his presence felt on the screen. Gulshan Devaiah made his presence felt as an evil king.
