Young hero Karthi whose recent outing ‘Kaithi’ (Khaidi in Telugu) turned out as a cult blockbuster, is all set to enthrall the audience with yet another thriller, ‘Donga’ (‘Thambi’ in Tamil) under the direction of ‘Drishyam’ fame Jeethu Joseph.
Karthi’s sister-in-law Jyothika is playing the sister role of Karthi, whereas Sathyaraj became their father in the movie. The first look poster of the film released by Suriya received a very good response and the makers have unveiled the teaser of the movie today.
Nagarjuna Akkineni shared the teaser on Twitter. He wrote, “Another blockbuster on the way!!#DongaTeaser …. @Karthi_Offl #Jyotika #JeethuJoseph & team”
Karthi plays Sarva while Jyothika plays Parvathi in the movie. The teaser hints that Karthi is a con artist who lives away from family but it looks like there is a purpose behind the same and when he reunites with sister Parvathi, together, they set on a mission. The brother-sister love bonding seems to be a highlight of the film.
Suraj Sadanah is marking his production debut with this film which is Govind Vasantha’s musical whose last one 96 has become a major hit. Nikhila Vimal and Ilavarasu are also a part of the movie. RD Rajasekhar is the cinematographer of the movie. Viacom18 Studios and Parallel Minds are producing this film.
