Story
Rocking Star Yash is back as the immensely stylish and confident Rocky Bhai. There are many opponents stacked against him; most of them are already known to us due to the wide-reaching impact of the first part. There are some new adversaries too, prominently the nation’s PM Ramika Sen (Raveena Tandon). Adheera was referred to quite a few times in the first part; here he gets a menacing form through Sanjay Dutt. How Rocky tackles all these people and continues his hold on the KGF throne is how the story progresses. Just when we might think that the film could end on a sad note, the makers surprise us and thrill us big time with the post-credits scene which promises us that this KGF franchise isn’t done yet!
Performances
Yash is setting a new benchmark among this generation of heroes in how to carry a stylish mass character with a supreme level of comfort and swag. He is riveting, and we just can’t take our eyes off him. Raveena Tandon is a revelation in the limited screen time that she has. Sanjay Dutt’s look is superbly done and his hulky screen presence is very apt for Adheera.
Rao Ramesh is adequate, while Prakash Raj and Malavika Avinash are comfortable in their conversation scenes which drive the narrative forward. The pretty Srinidhi Shetty makes her presence almost throughout the film though her screen time isn’t much. She gets one nice love song with Yash, as her character eventually accepts Rocky’s undiminishing love and attention towards her. Archana Jois makes a powerful impression as Rocky’s mother. Mother sentiment is at the heart of the second part too. Tamil youngster Saran makes a good mark in his cameo as a youngster at KGF who looks up to Rocky as his God. Of course, Anmol Vijay (the younger Rocky) is terrific again in whatever little he gets in the second part!

Prashanth Neel stands tall as one of the best directors in the mass elevation genre; he celebrates his hero & thrills us big time. He’s also very strong in emotions, making us cry a bit too, amidst all the action excitement, and hero elevation! With Yash in complete command and ownership of his character, Chapter 2 fulfills and eventually even surpasses all the immense expectations. Box Office Demolition guaranteed!
Yash’s style, swag, and screen presence have taken the film to a whole new level. His intro sequence, the pre-interval bang, and end credits excitement are all GOLD. Extremely exciting mass moments and hero elevation sequences, action scenes choreographed by Anbariv are a treat to watch like the epic segment where Rocky goes all guns blazing outside a police station. Whereas Excessive action could also be a problem for some.
Trademark brilliant background score and songs by Ravi Basrur elevate every scene. The punchlines will be a feast for mass commercial cinema lovers. Plenty of MEME material for the youth, thanks to all the fiery dialogs in the film.
