Star director Koratala Siva who made blockbusters under Mythri Movie Makers has released the first song of Uppena that marks the debut of Vaishnav Tej, Krithi Shetty, and Buchi Babu Sana as hero, heroine, and director respectively.
The first song Nee Kannu Neeli Samudram is a wonderful Qawwali composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The love story of the lead pair Vaishnav Tej and Krithi Shetty which begins at a Dargah when they are kids is shown exquisitely.
The song is an instant chartbuster with passionate singing from Javed Ali and Srikanth Chandra. The Hindi lyrics by Raqueeb Alam and Telugu lyrics by Shreemani give emphasis to Tej’s adoration on Shetty. Nobody can beat DSP when it comes to soothing melodies and he proves the same another time.
The song launch is attended by Sukumar who’s the production partner of the film.

When Buchi first came to narrate me the story, I really liked his detailing and could watch every frame. Popular Tamil star Vijay Sethupathi plays an important role in the flick directed by Buchi Babu Sana.
‘Rockstar’ Devi Sri Prasad is composing music while Shamdat Sainudeen is handling the cinematography.
