Analysis:
Director Prithviraj Sukumaran in the sequel, adds an international element, blending various nexus points. The first half builds anticipation for Mohanlal’s entry, while the second half focuses on action and political intrigue. The story, penned by Prithviraj Sukumaran, feels predictable at times.
The film’s technical team has done an excellent job, with Deepak Dev’s music and Sujith Vassudevan’s cinematography being major highlights. The editing could be tighter. However, the slow narration and lengthy duration are major drawbacks. On a whole, L2-Empuraan delivers as a stylish action thriller, showcasing Mohanlal’s charisma and the technical team’s skill. While the story feels dragged and slow paced, it’s a treat for action lovers and Mohanlal fans.
Rating: 3/5
