Analysis:
Director Arun is a novelist and it is evident that the narration of the story feels like reading a novel. The idea of Ghost narrating the story from its perspective is innovative. The screenplay in the first half is neatly handled but it is the core idea of the movie, which is the hero falling for a ghost, instantly attracts us. The movie begins on an interesting note with the backstory of the ghost. The film reaches to the interval point with a twist.
The second half is about revealing core story and investigative part. The film piques interest during pre climax revealing each twist which leads to climax and the further twist leads way to the sequel is neatly handled. Apart from Vaishnavi Chaitanya and Simran Chaudhary, there are three other heroines too.
The interest factor created in the first half didn’t carried towards the end after the big revelation. The screenplay could have been more clear and better. The complex narration is a minor setback for the film which otherwise, a solid and new kind of horror film with Ghost Love concept.
Keeravani’s background score is haunting. The songs are good. The art work is superb, and the visuals by P.C. Sreeram are top-notch. The movie is splendid visually, and credit should go to the legendary cinematographer for the fantastic visuals. The CG works are satisfactory. The editing is below par.
Rating: 3/5
Bottom-line: Unique Horror Thriller
