Produced by Anumula Lakshman Rao and Pallakonda Sriramulu under the banners of Anumula Productions and Sriram Creations, ‘Maa Ramudu Andarivadu’ is directed by Yeddanapudi Maikil. The film stars Sriram and Swathi Mandadi in the lead roles, while senior actor Suman, Sammeta Gandhi, Naga Mahesh, and Baahubali Prabhakar play key roles. Anand Bharathi, Gaddam Naveen, Chittibabu, Gold Reddy, and others are part of the cast.
The film is set for a grand worldwide theatrical release on September 4. It has got a good buzz among movie lovers and cinephiles. The teaser and trailer impressed everyone. Ahead of the release, a pre-release event was held at Prasads Labs in Hyderabad in the presence of several prominent members of the film industry.
Producer Venkat Duggireddy and director Srinivasa Teja attended the event as chief guests. They extended their best wishes to the entire team and expressed their hope that the film would achieve great success and bring recognition to the movie’s team. Speaking on the occasion
Senior actor Suman, who plays a key role in the film, said: “Many people have already proved that talent is more important than glamour in the film industry. The same can be said about our hero Sriram, who has immense talent. He has delivered a very good performance in the dual role. My character in this film is quite different. I play the Chief Minister, a role that delivers a strong social message.
“Director Yeddanapudi Maikil is a filmmaker with great clarity. Producer Lakshman garu has also played the villain in the film, and he has performed very well. This is a very good story, and the twists are quite interesting. I am confident that the film will appeal to everyone. If audiences encourage films like this, more new actors, filmmakers, and producers will get an opportunity to enter the industry.”
Producer and actor Anumula Lakshman Rao said: “We are extremely happy with the output of our film. Along with producing the movie, I also played the villain. In the first half, I will be seen as a wild and ruthless villain. My character has been an MLA for 20 years and controls the entire village in an authoritarian manner. The scenes between my character and Suman garu, who plays the Chief Minister, will entertain the audience.
“We shot the film in the forests of Maredumilli, and the visuals will be spectacular. The four songs composed by Manish Kumar will be a special attraction. Cinematographers Vinod and Kumar, along with the entire team, provided excellent support.
“We approached some senior members of the industry and requested their support, but initially, nobody paid attention to us. Later, after watching the trailer, they appreciated it and said that it looked good. Our film is releasing on September 4 in more than 200 theatres. I sincerely request everyone to support and encourage our movie.”
Director Yeddanapudi Maikil said: “We have travelled with this film for nearly fourteen months. We faced several challenges along the way, but overcame all of them, and we are finally bringing the film before audiences on September 4.
“Sriram garu is my friend, and it was with his support that this film turned out so well. Heroine Swathi also extended tremendous cooperation. Even though we did not have many facilities, she supported us throughout the shoot.
“Along with directing the film, I also worked on the story, dialogues, and songs, and choreographed two songs. It is very difficult for new artists and new directors to enter the film industry, so I am grateful to everyone who has supported us. We have proved that anyone can achieve success with hard work.
“I already feel as though this is a success meet for me. The title has a positive vibe, and the story also carries a positive vibe. The father-and-son emotion in the film will connect with everyone. We are going to offer the audience a complete cinematic feast with this movie. I would like to extend my special thanks to Suman garu.”
Hero Sriram said: “Audiences should look at the content rather than deciding whether a film is big or small. As Telugu people, we are often the ones who pull each other down. Only when we encourage one another can we prove ourselves.
“This film has a lot of strength. I have acted in thirteen films so far, and I can confidently say that this movie will be wonderful. It is a privilege to act alongside Suman garu.
