Story:
Anand (Sharwanand) is a guy with Obsessive Compulsory Disorder (OCD). It is a challenge to get a girlfriend for him. He finally finds a match in Meghana (Mehreen). Did their love succeed? It is the overall story of the film.
Performances:
Sharwanand is terrific in the role of a guy with OCD. His performance is different from what he has done till now. He carries the entire film on his shoulders. There are many scenes which highlight both his comedy and dramatic action potential.
Mehreen is good right through the movie. She is utilized well glamorously and also performs well in the crucial scenes. Mahanubhavudu is sure to take her to new heights.
Apart from the main leads, there are Nasser, and Vennela Kishore playing important roles. Both do their jobs aptly. Others are right in their parts and help maintain the emotions.

Analysis:
Director Maruthi is back in elements again for Mahanubhavudu. Right from the first frame until the end the director maintains an engaging narrative. The problem of the hero is showcased very clearly and in a way that even layman can understand. Once that is done, the director utilizes it to generate entertainment in a very fresh and innovative way.
The movie’s core story is a simple one, and the director establishes that love track carefully amidst the OCD development and entertainment. The second half happens in a village set up, and it offers a great contrast to the city environment in the first half. The engaging aspect is maintained well, and songs are utilized perfectly.
Overall, Mahanubhavudu is a clean family entertainer that can be watched with the whole family. The comedy broadens its appeal across centers. Maruthi has made a smashing comeback after a brief break.
SS Thaman has given good music and excellent background score. The cinematography is lovely it additionally gives a slick look and feel to the movie. Editing is alright. Production values are exemplary by UV Creations.
