First Half could have been better

Analysis:

Writer-director VS Mukkhesh comes up with a loves tory between contrasting characters of the lead pair. If Parvateesam’s character is soft-spoken and timid, Mahalakshmi is loud-mouthed and aggressive. What unites them both is that they are principled and will stand for what they believe in. These contrasts and commonalities have worked in favour of the film and delivered a new-age rom-com.

The first half deals with Hero falling for heroine and trying to woo her. All these proceedings feel.like we have already watched these scenes but comedy made them work to some extent. After a normal first half, good interval block gives hopes on second half. And this is where Dircetor delivered with emotional content which works in favour of ‘Market Mahalakshmi’.

Joe Emnav’s songs and Srujana Sasanka’s background score is commendable. are honourable. Srujan Shashanka’s background score is insipid. Surendra Chilumula’s cinematography is vibrant. Editing by Vishwanath Kuchanapalli could have been better especially in the first half.

Rating: 3/5

Bottom-line: A Message Oriented Love Entertainer !!!
