Masakali song from Delhi 6 movie is one of the chartbuster songs that is composed by Oscar winner AR Rahman and it was quite a sensation a decade back when it got released. Yesterday the remix version of Masakali song is unveiled online as Masakali 2.0 that featured Sidharth Malhotra and Tara Sutaria. Instantly it went into trending list of YouTube and clocked 14 million views in less than 24 hours, Tulsi Kumar & Sachet Tandon lend their voices and Tanishk Bagchi recreated the music for the hit song.
The original music composer AR Rahman was unhappy about the remix song and posted the real song expressing his displeasure pointing out the hard efforts that are put in creating a song for generations to remember. Even the Delhi 6 director Om Prakash Mehra has joined showing his support to the music director AR Rahman and lashed out at Masakali 2.0 through his social media account.
