Sid Sriram is currently the topmost singer in both Tamil and the Telugu film industry. The exciting singing talent has worked with many music directors like AR Rahman, Anirudh, Gopi Sunder, and Thaman, but never got a chance of singing for music maestro Ilayaraja. Finally, Sid got that chance recently for the film Psycho.
He sang a song in Ilayaraja’s composition in this Mysskin’s directorial. Speaking about his experience of working with the legendary Raja, Sid Sriram said it was a dream come true for him. Raja was particular in making singers sing the track in the way it is composed and it was a new experience for Sid to work in that style.
Sid said that working with Ilayaraja and AR Rahman helped him develop his own style while composing. Sid is now turning as a music director as well. Meanwhile, the star singer also managed to get a compliment from Ilayaraja. When he touched Ilayaraja’s feet, the latter told him that he needs no blessings as he is already blessed. Sid moved into tears after hearing such a compliment from his idol.
