Director Nag Ashwin has done an extraordinary job with his “Mahanati” film and his efforts to flashlight about legendary actress Savitri to the current generation got successful to a large extent. Heroine Keerthy Suresh has put her heart and soul completely into the character of Savitri garu. Her natural acting made audiences get emotionally connected to the proceedings happening on the silver screen and strongly believed her as a real-life legendary actress.
Mahanati has got huge critical acclaim and it also fetched good money at the box office, turning out as a profitable venture for Vyjayanthi Movies, Swapna Cinema banners. Mahanati film was screened at many national and international film festivals for its worthy emotional content. In a few more days, Mahanati is going to celebrate its one year and another feather in the cap is added to the blockbuster biographical flick.
Going into details Mahanati movie is selected to get screened at the Shanghai International Film Festival this year. While the icing on the cake is Keerty Suresh film is the sole entry to get premiered and this is one more honor for Mahanati move. SIFF is going to start next month and the film festival will start on 15th June and get completed on 24th June 2019.
Mahanati had a talented star cast Dulquer Salman, Samantha Akkineni, Vijay Deverakonda aided by the brilliant technical team starting from camera work by Dani Sanchez-Lopez, editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao, music by Mickey J.
