Bollywood stars are showing a keen interest in South Indian films in recent years. Pokiri, Ready, and Kick with Salman Khan, Vikramarkudu, Thuppakki with Akshay Kumar, and Singam with Ajay Devgn became huge successes. The recent remake of Telugu film Arjun Reddy as Kabir Singh with Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor also turned into a Blockbuster. At present Shahid Kapoor’s upcoming movie is also a remake of Telugu film Jersey. Director Goutham Tinnanuri who directed the original is directing in Bollywood now.
News is that Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor is again looking for another remake. He wants to remake Surya’s Tamil film, ‘Sooraarai Pottru’ (Aakasame Nee Haddhura in Telugu) which is Directed by Sudha Konga based on the true story which is ready to release. If everything goes as per plan Shahid will be featuring in 3 remakes in a row.
