Heroine Janhvi Kapoor expressed her excitement about the journey. “We’ve been working on this film for the past two years, and watching the trailer with all of you is a very special moment. Buchi Babu is truly a ‘rowdy’ director—he will not compromise until he gets exactly what he envisions. It’s an honor to act in a film featuring AR Rahman’s music, and working with Ram Charan is a huge privilege in my life. Audiences have shown so much love to the films starring my mother and Chiranjeevi, and fans have long wished for our combination. This project is very nostalgic for us. Ram Charan is simply the best, and I hope you all enjoy the film.”

Music maestro AR Rahman spoke passionately about the film. “I’ve done many Tamil films that were dubbed into Telugu, but I’ve always wanted to do a straight Telugu film. That opportunity finally came with Peddi. When Buchi Babu narrated the story, I could see the passion in his eyes, and I immediately knew this had to be my first direct Telugu project. Buchi Babu has crafted every frame with meticulous detail. I have seen Ram Charan’s immense physical and mental effort firsthand. Buchi Babu may look soft-spoken, but he never compromises, and that makes this film truly special.”

Producer Venkata Satish Kilaru became emotional while addressing the crowd. “Thank you to everyone who attended. We’re thrilled to kickstart our promotions from Mumbai. We’ve worked extremely hard over the last two years, and from June 4th onward, this film belongs to the audience. Buchi Babu pushed himself relentlessly to bring out the exact performance he wanted from Ram Charan. Words are not enough to describe Charan’s commitment—he suffered multiple injuries but kept going without hesitation. Rathnavelu delivered spectacular visuals, and Rahman poured his soul into the music and background score. Janhvi Kapoor’s discipline constantly reminded us of Sridevi. During Rangasthalam, Ram Charan promised to do a film with me, and he kept that promise. This is going to be a sure-shot blockbuster, and I thank every technician who contributed.”

Actor Divyenndu Sharma shared his happiness. “Seeing all your reactions today has been absolutely thrilling! Being part of a massive film like Peddi is pure joy. I want to thank Buchi Babu for taking such great care of me. Rathnavelu has captured every frame beautifully, and Ram Charan’s look is outstanding. It’s an honor to feature in a film powered by AR Rahman’s music.”

Director Buchi Babu Sana expressed heartfelt gratitude. “I will forever be indebted to Ram Charan for giving me such a massive opportunity for my second film. Only I know the pain and injuries he endured for this role. Janhvi Kapoor is incredibly hardworking, and I’m sure she will reach the heights her mother achieved. Working with AR Rahman is a dream come true. I heard the background score for the first half yesterday, and it’s mind-blowing. Divyenndu has become a close friend, and Rathnavelu brought my vision to life. Finally, wishing a very Happy Birthday to our producer Satish. Thank you, India! Thank you, Mumbai!”

Cinematographer R Rathnavelu praised the team. “Peddi is a phenomenal story, and every person poured their heart into it. You will witness a mind-blowing performance from Ram Charan, who completely transformed for this film. Divyenndu acted brilliantly, and I’m confident Janhvi Kapoor will gain even more fans in the South. This is my third film with AR Rahman, and watching him work still gives me fanboy moments. Satish is an incredibly patient producer. Love you, Cherry.”

Mega Power Star Ram Charan took the stage to thunderous applause. “Good evening, Mumbai! We’ve lived and breathed this film for two years, while Buchi Babu has traveled with it for five. A special thanks to him for bringing AR Rahman on board. Every film has pillars, but Rahman is our center pillar. I’m a huge fan of his music. Divyenndu brings a unique gangster swag to the screen. This is my fifth film with the master, Rathnavelu. Janhvi is extremely dedicated and honest, and sharing screen space with her is a nostalgic experience. This role was physically draining, and I must thank Salman Khan and Aamir Khan for inspiring us with films like Sultan and Dangal. I knew from the narration that I had to transform completely. This is a very honest story about the universal search for identity, narrated organically with strong commercial appeal.”

He continued, “Peddi is the most inspiring film I’ve done in my career. Films like Magadheera, Rangasthalam, and RRR don’t come often. Peddi belongs to that rare category. My father always told me, ‘These kinds of films don’t come again and again, so cherish every moment.’ Fortunately, Peddi came to me soon after RRR. This is a film I will preserve in my library forever. Get ready to be surprised!”

With a promise of a cult cinematic experience, Peddi is set for a grand worldwide theatrical release on June 4th.
