Kannada beauty Pranitha Subhash is one of the popular heroines down the South. Pranitha managed to act in many notable films alongside star heroes like Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, and Suriya. Now, she is all set to foray into Bollywood.
Pranitha will be seen in the upcoming Hindi film Bhuj: The Pride of India, in which she is playing the role of star hero Ajay Devgn’s wife. Speaking about the film to a leading media daily, Pranitha said, “The story is based on a true incident, and I believe audiences will connect better to the story. Although I’ve got other Bollywood offers previously, I chose to take this up because I loved the realistic script.”
“It’s a traditional role. We’re living in an era where the audience is welcoming content-driven stories, and not just asking to see actresses as glam props. I think the film Mission Mangal is a classic example,” she further added. Bhuj is being directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya.
