Purushaha Trailer Promises a Wholesome Entertainer, A Cool Outing for This Hot Summer
Backed by Kalyan Productions, the upcoming family entertainer Purushaha is shaping up to be a refreshing mix of clean humour, relatable emotions, and mass-friendly storytelling. Presented by Saraswati Battula and produced by Battula Koteswara Rao, the film marks the debut of Pavan Kalyan Battula in the lead, under the direction of Veeru Vulavala. Joining him is an ensemble cast featuring Saptagiri, Vennela Kishore, Kasireddy Rajkumar, Rayancha Kokkura, Vishika, Hasini Sudheer, and Ananth Sriram, all bringing strong flavour to this fun-filled setup. The makers came up with the film’s theatrical trailer, as Purushaha is getting ready for release in 3 more days on May 22nd.
The trailer begins on a humorous note with Vennela Kishore’s witty voiceover on the realities of marriage: “Brahmachari Bharthagaa Maaralani Nirnayinchukunna Tharvatha, Jeevitham Yuddha Bhoomilaa Thayarauthundi.” From there, the narrative quickly shifts into introducing the three lead male characters, each struggling with turbulence in their married lives. Unable to withstand the chaos, they turn to the court for relief, setting the stage for a comedy of clashes, confusions, and heartfelt realizations.
Beyond the humour, the trailer hints at strong emotional undercurrents. Dialogues like
“Rendaksharaala Prema, Rendu Hrudayalatho Chelagaatamaaduthoo Untundi…”
And “Eppudu Nannu Vethukuntoo Vacche Prema, Ippudu Mathram Nannu Ontarigaa Vadili Vellipothundi…” add weight to the narrative, showcasing the film’s balance between laughter and sentiment.
Director Veeru Vulavala appears to have crafted a narrative that blends situational comedy with touching moments and relationship-driven drama. The husband–wife dynamics are presented with both humour and heart, while the surprising superhero element adds a quirky, enjoyable layer.
For a debutant, Pavan Kalyan Battula makes a confident impression with his screen presence and dialogue delivery. Saptagiri, Vennela Kishore, and Kasireddy Rajkumar promise rib-tickling comedy, while Rayancha Kokkura, Vishika, and Hasini Sudheer get impactful roles. Ananth Sriram stands out as a lawyer.
Technically, the film looks solid. Cinematographer Satish Muthyala paints the frames with vibrant, colourful visuals, while Shravan Bharadwaaj’s music elevates both the fun and emotional beats. Editor Koti and art director Ravibabu Dondapati add finesse, and the production values appear impressive for a film in the family-entertainer space.
With its lively character interactions, humour-driven narrative, and commercial sensibilities, Purushaha promises to be a wholesome, laugh-loaded experience. At a time when audiences are craving lighthearted, breezy cinema, this one seems perfectly timed- a cool, refreshing outing in the scorching summer heat.
